A Day of Joy

I'm wearing >>  Handmade White skirt  | Old vintage shirt | Zara high heels | Stradivarius necklace |
vintage sunglasses |

Hey people! My best friend  became a godmother yesterday and I went to a baptism after so long. We were all so excited about this day so we dressed a little bit more formal than our daily routine...Personally, I chosed to wear a skirt made by my friend Sophia. I really love this skirt, it's so classy! Actually, I know that sewing is a very difficult work and I am definitely not able to do a thing like that! So ,at least, I have to consider myself lucky to have a friend who can do it for me!

Well as for the rest of my outfit, dark clothes were not a good choice cause the whole event took place in the morning. Besides, pastel green, blue or pink are perfect colors for this occasion.

Finally, I have to admit that I had a lot of fun.I' mo so happy that my best friend baptized a 6 months baby girl who is officially the sweetest baby I've ever seen! So goodbye until next post... xx

Hello world! It's been a while since my last post as I was sitting the semester exams in Aueb. But, thank god, it's over now and I'm back! Well my exams are over and I couldn't be more happier cause my summer starts now officially. Tomorrow I'm gonna go to my hometown for vacation and I have to admit that I missed my parents and my little sister. Besides, Athens tend to be a hell to me cause my home is so far away from the sea and I can't go to the beach everyday. Well, last day in Athens and first post in blog since long.I hope you like it! xx

Athens Colour Festival 2014

I  had such a wonderful day yesterday. The Athens colour festival took place in Metaxourgeio(an area in center of Athens) and I went with some friends. It was my first time in a festival like this and it was absolutely awesome! Me and my friends painted our faces with our eyeliners and lipsticks and followed the parade in the area's streets. When all these people arrived in the central square the colour fight started with an amazing drum accompaniment! All the people started bombing each other with colours and dancing . At the end of the fight we were all colourful! Personally, I enjoyed it a lot and I would really like to congratulate those people who helped setting up this festival. Thank you  for this great celebration! You made Athens a happy colourful city :)

The photos are from my cellphone but the gorgeous first photo is from the i-pod of my friend Eleni (the brunette in the second photo). She is a really good photographer don't you think?

Here comes the sun

I' m wearing >>  pull & bear shorts jeans | vintage sleeveless shirt | H&M white sneakers | H&M sunglasses

Hello world! It's been a while since my last post. I'm sorry but I have to study for my exams and it's not an easy thing to do in summer. I just can't wait to finish my homework and go to the beach.I have to say it: When summer comes I really can not concentrate in anything else than my vacation. Also, I can't wear trousers at all! The truth is that the heat is unbearable to wear jeans! So my wardrobe is full of shorts and skirts. Today I'm wearing my favorite high waisted shorts with white shirt (white tends to become officially my best summer color)  I hope you like it! xx

Summer is coming with good and bad news

I'm wearing >>      H&M floral dress | Primark black slippers | Primark sunglasses | vintage accessories.

Well the good news are that I'm pretty excited about my new dress! I think it'll become one of my favorites summer clothes!

So now back to the bad news... Last Sunday I went to my hometown to vote for the European elections.I was really  hoping for a change in Europe's political system, but the results weren't hopeful at all. It's sad the fact that all Europe voted for far-right political parties. Unfortunately, here in Greece there are many citizens who trust a neonazis political party. I don't know if there is any hope for Greeks and Europe anymore! I'm angry with the  people of my country. It's a shame for a country with such a great history in political thought to vote an uneducated mass for our representation in Europe. Really bad political acts!

Apivita

Last Friday's afternoon I visited the Apivita's  Store in Kolwnaki (Athens center)  for a university case study. It was a great experience! Some people of the company talked to us about Apivita's history and vision. Apivita is a greek corporation that offers beauty products available in many countries beside Greece such as Spain, Japan, USA etc. Personally, I use the propoline shampoo and I highly  recommend it to you if you have damaged long hair.however this time the point of the visit wasn't about the company's products but the Apivita's perspective and value. For me it's very important to use products that are environmentally friendly and fortunatelly Apivita is a company that respects and loves deeply the nature.Being natural is the most  beautiful thing we can ever do and as Apivita says "Beautiful people are people with beautiful souls and thoughts." People in this company have certainly beautiful thoughts!

Under The Greek Sun

I'm wearing >> H&M navy blue maxi skirt | H&M crop top | exe sandals | Primark bag | Vintage accessories | primark sunglasses.

Sometimes I truly believe that Athens is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. She probably could be the best if the Greeks had conserved old buildings all over the city. But at least I think she is still dreamy cause I have this incredible history center right next to my university. So, today me and my boyfriend had a walk to the history center and I realized that I missed so much this part of Athens. I should go there more often!
